Stringo Secures Patent for Automatic Roll Protectors in Japan

Stringo, the world’s most loved vehicle moving solution, today announces its patented innovation, the highly regarded 4WDA technology, has received trademark status in Japan. 4WDA is a critical element to Stringo’s ability to moving automobiles in a safe, highly efficient manner and has been praised by customers for its ease of use as well as well as innovative solution to moving vehicles in tight spaces.

Almost every automobile manufacture uses Stringos to solve their vehicle moving needs as well as other customer classes like police, prestigious private collectors, large and small car dealers and others.

Having the patent approved in Japan, where Stringo has one of its key daughter companies located, signals the firms continued commitment to this important market.

“The automatic roller plane technology is a one of our important patents because it really adds safety without any need for the operator to do anything outside of normal procedure,” says Stringo CTO Magnus Grafström.

Previously, Stringo has secured this patent in various countries including the US, Germany, France, Italy and the UK and has filings under review in other markets.
